The success of kazakh-turkish high school students

The success of kazakh-turkish high school students
2009-2010 academic year was very successful for the students and teachers of kazakh-turkish high schools. It is because our students have just returned from various international science olympiads and contests where they demonstrated their knowledge and represented our country.
These olympiads were held in the following subjects: Chemistry (IChO), Mathematics (IMO), Informatics (IOI), Biology (IBO) and Physics (IPhO).
51st International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO 2010) was held in Astana on 2-14 July. 517 students took part in it. Representatives from 97 countries attended this big event. The 11th grade student of Astana kazakh-turkish high school, Rauan Rakhmet, took the silver medal in this olympiad.

International Physcis olympiad (IPhO) that was held in Croatia was not an exception for our students. Our three students took silver medals. They are as follows:
1.    Aydin Kemeldinov. Issyk kazakh-turkish high school. 11th grade student
2.    Tamirlan Seydakhmetov. Taraz kazakh-turkish high school. 11th grade student
3.    Nurjas Aydinov. Taraz kazakh-turkish high school. 11th grade student

In international Biology olympiad (IBO) that took place in Korea the student of Taraz kazakh-turkish high school Talas Kosibakov was awarded a bronze medal.
Madiyar Aytbayev, a student of Taldikorgan kazakh-turkish high school, took the bronze medal in international informatics olympiad.

This year 44th international Mendeleev Chemistry olympiad was held in Baku, Azerbaijan. The olympiad consisted of theoretical and practical tours. In this olympiad the students from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kirgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Romania, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Estonia participated. The students of kazakh-turkish high schools representing Kazakhstan demonstrated the following results:

                                                                            6.    Nurbek Serikuly – Taraz, 10th grade, bronze

Moreover, international Chemistry olympiad (IChO) was held on 19-28 July in Tsukuba, Japan. Kazakhstani team represented by kazakh-turkish high school students achieved the following results:
1.    Shakhizadayev Abilay-Taraz,10th grade, bronze medals

What is deserved to be mentioned is that it was the first time when Kazakhstani team took golden medals in Mendeleev olympiad. And the students who brought them to Kazakhstan were kazakh-turkish high school students.
Let us congratulate our dear chemistry students and their teachers on their great success.
In addition, let us also congratulate the teachers of those students who achieved such great results in other above mentioned olympiads.
